Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these to us yourself.

- Telephone number
- ID card or passport number (in connection with tourist tax)
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service has no intention of collecting data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities, in order to prevent the collection of data about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@bbeigenheimer.nl, and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what grounds do we process personal data?
Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process payments and prevent fraud
- To comply with legal obligations, such as calculating tax
- To send you our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
- To respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints

- We will also store any comments or reviews, if you leave them

Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast does not make decisions about issues that can (significantly) affect people based on automated processing. These decisions are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (for example an employee of Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast) being involved.
How long we keep personal information
Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast will not keep your personal information any longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Sharing personal information with third parties
Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it to others if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We will enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your details on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your details. Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast remains responsible for this processing.
- Payment Service provider: to receive payments through the web shop
- MailChimp: We will only send you newsletters if you have given us permission to do so.
- Social media: When sharing products through social media channels, the privacy rules of the relevant service apply.
We accept payments through Mollie
When processing payments, some data is transferred to Mollie. This includes information necessary to process or support the payment, such as the total amount of the purchase and billing information.
Cookies
Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your convenience. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences.
They also allow us to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser so that it does not store cookies anymore. In addition, you can delete all information previously stored through the settings of your browser.
Login to the website
If you have an account and log in to this site, we store a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
Once you log in, we will store some cookies related to your login information and screen display options. Login cookies are valid for 2 days and cookies for screen display options are valid for 1 year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will be saved for 2 weeks. Once you log out of your account, login cookies will be deleted.
Analytics
The website & booking system make use of Google Analytics. The sharing of information is turned off, IP addresses are anonymized, and a processing agreement has been made with Google. With this we comply with the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Personal data
Reviewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or remove your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your permission for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data modification or request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@bbeigenheimer.nl.
To make sure that the request for inspection was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. Make in this copy your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

How we protect personal data
Eigenheimer Bed & Breakfast takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes.
